About Binita

Some gifts are born.
Some are chosen.
Hers was both.

Born into an army family in Kathmandu, Binita grew up surrounded by spiritual teachers and seers. From the age of eleven, she had a knowing that arrived before any training. A guru recognised it. The study of Vedic astrology followed - and she has been reading lives ever since.

Her Story

Before it was a practice,
it was simply something she could do.

"Some gifts are born. Some are chosen. Hers was both."

I

A childhood shaped by spiritual presence

Binita grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal, in a traditional army household. From early childhood, spiritual teachers, seers, and learned elders were a steady presence in her family's home - people of genuine depth who visited, spoke, and left something behind. She absorbed it all quietly.

She could sense things before they happened. She felt the energy a person carried before they spoke. When she thought of someone, they would reach out moments later. Her dreams arrived with information. Spiritual elders who visited her home would single her out, speak to her, bless her - not because of her family, but because of something they recognised in her.

II

The guru who chose her

When Binita was around eleven, a guru came to her parents' home. He had not been told about her - he was not there for her. But when he saw her, he recognised something immediately. He told her family she should study with him.

Under his guidance, she began the formal study of Vedic astrology - Jyotish, the ancient science of the sky. The mathematics of the charts gave precise language to the knowing she had always carried. She did not learn these things from the outside in. She recognised them.

III

The readings that proved themselves over decades

As a young student, Binita would read the charts and palms of her friends and the people close to her. She would tell them what she saw: the shape of their path, what was coming, the nature of the chapters ahead.

Those readings were made thirty, forty years ago. Her friends have come back to tell her that what she said has come true. That is the track record that built the practice - not a marketing claim, but lived experience, returned to over decades.

IV

From artist to guide

Binita's professional life began in the world of art - a creative path that held its own kind of attentiveness to the human spirit. But the readings never stopped. Friends kept coming. Word spread quietly. People arrived at crossroads and the sessions kept proving themselves.

In 2017, she completed formal training in Tarot and Numerology, bringing both into her practice as disciplines that speak the same language as Vedic astrology - approached from different angles.

V

The practice today

Binita works across three disciplines - Vedic astrology, Tarot, and Numerology - reading each person not as a category, but as an individual. Her numerology is rooted in the Pythagorean tradition, and she still reads palms. Every session is built on one thing: what is actually true for the person sitting across from her.

Today she practises under the name Taranni - a Sanskrit word for the sun that crosses the sky, and the boat that carries you across water. Both meanings describe the work: helping people move from where they are to a clearer view of what's ahead.

The unseen guide she has felt since childhood - the spiritual current that has moved through her life in dreams, in encounters, in the quiet knowing that arrives before thought - has never left. It simply found its form in the practice.
